My cosy crime series is set in a B&B in the Yorkshire seaside town of Scarborough. 

The books were shortlisted in the prestigious Dead Good Readers' Awards 2022 in the category of New Kid on the Block for Best New Crime Series. I was shortlisted against Richard Osman and Val McDermid at Harrogate International Crime Festival 2022.

When a troupe of 12 Elvis impersonators (Twelvis!) arrive for an Elvis convention in Scarborough, one of them is found dead and his blue suede shoes are stolen. B&B landlady Helen Dexter and her trusty greyhound Suki are on the case to uncover the killer.

An acting troupe arrive to rehearse a play they hope will save a much-loved local theatre. However, the leading lady is a diva, the playwright is highly strung and tension in the troupe is high. When one of the actors is found dead on the beach, landlady Helen Dexter and her rescue greyhound Suki set out to solve the crime. But just when Helen thinks things can’t get any worse after one of her guests is murdered, the hotel inspector arrives!
